Her mysteries are really well written and have lots of twists and turns in the plot. I love them. I have read most of what she has written. I discovered her while on a cruise to Alaska in 1996. She was a speaker at one of the events on board the ship. I love to read mysteries and had not heard of her so I went to listen and really enjoyed listening to her. Once I got home I looked up her books and have been reading then since. This particular book is in the Joanna Brady series which is set in Arizona. Great story! I love her characters and how they have developed over the course of the whole series. I would recommend these books and suggest that you start with the first one which is called Desert Heat.

I started this book a couple of weeks ago and just finished it. I really liked it a lot. The beginning was a gradual build up of the story line and then about half way through I found that I didn’t want to put it down. I was even trying to read bits at the stop lights driving home. I read at lunch time, in the morning while eating breakfast and then in the evening before going to bed. It was very suspenseful and kept your attention. The author, Steig Larsson, did a great job.
